Hundreds of players have appeared on Poker After Dark over the last decade, but few have the experience that Antonio Esfandiari does. “The Magician” has been a fan favorite for years and this week, he is set to extend his Poker After Dark legacy with back-to-back appearances during “The Prestige” week. The first of two $50/$100 No Limit Hold’em cash games is currently streaming live on PokerGO, with Esfandiari leading the line.
The One Drop winner returns to PokerGO after being featured during “Moon Magic” week and during “Holidays with Hellmuth.” Esfandiari also played one of the biggest pots in Poker After Dark history during “The Return of Tom Dwan” episodes, when his pocket kings ran into the aces of Tom Dwan.
While Dwan was and is a mainstay on the program, “The Prestige” week features a handful of players making their Poker After Dark debuts.
Former first-round NBA draft pick Bob Sura is set to open his Poker After Dark account, after a ten-year career in the NBA. Businessmen Devon Chon Watt, Bob Nouri, Robert Sanchez, and philanthropist Darol Rodrock are also making their first appearances, while Hollywood’s Randall Emmett returns.
Emmett was featured during “Voices Carry” week and his voice has carried since, as he’s made a few more PAD appearances. He’s primarily played in high stakes sit and go’s though, so tonight’s cash game will be a change of pace for the Hollywood producer.
A majority of the group will return to run it back on Wednesday night, but first, we need to find out who will come out on top of tonight’s magical cash game. Watch live on PokerGO and be sure to follow PokerGO on Twitter for “The Prestige” content throughout the broadcast.
