The NAPT Las Vegas continued from Resorts World Las Vegas on Wednesday, November 5, with the conclusion of the second PGT-qualifying event of the series. Nick Petrangelo parlayed his second cash into a victory in Event #9: $20,000 Super High Roller Warm Up for $309,030.
Petrangelo also earned 247 PGT points, and when combined with the 72 PGT points he earned for finishing runner-up in Event #5, he now sits atop the NAPT Las Vegas Dream Seat Leaderboard with 319 PGT points. This victory was Petrangelo's seventh career PGT title, and he now has amassed more than $40,556,000 in lifetime tournament earnings, according to The Hendon Mob.
Petrangelo is now 121st on the PGT leaderboard with 453 PGT points, and although he is a substantial distance from being in the Top 40 and automatically qualifying for the PGT $1,000,000 Championship, he has a sizeable advantage with 319 PGT points to be the runaway leader on the NAPT Las Vegas Dream Seat leaderboard with only six PGT-qualifying events remaining.
The 53-entrant field paid the final eight players, and Thomas Boivin was the first elimination and moved into 43rd on the PGT leaderboard. Stephen Chidwick jumped to 21st on the PGT leaderboard with his seventh-place finish, while Jeremy Ausmus moved into 52nd to be right on the cusp of PGT $1,000,000 Championship qualification. Cary Katz earned his second NAPT Las Vegas cash and is now 88th on the PGT leaderboard. Jesse Lonis finished fourth and moved to sixth on the PGT leaderboard, while Kristen Foxen's third-place finish pushes her to 11th on the PGT leaderboard. Faraz Jaka was runner-up to Petrangelo, and this was his first PGT cash of the season.
