Sam Soverel Second to Reach 100 Career PGT Cashes
The NAPT Las Vegas continued from Resorts World Las Vegas on Wednesday, November 5, with the conclusion of the third PGT-qualifying event of the series. Joao Simao continued his hot form on the PGT by winning Event #13: $10,200 No-Limit Hold'em / Pot-Limit Omaha Round of Each for $174,600.
This was Simao's second PGT title, and he picked up 175 PGT points to take his 2025 PGT season tally to 1,573 PGT points to push him to ninth on the PGT leaderboard. Although he is ineligible due to his PGT $1,000,000 Championship qualifying position of being ninth on the PGT leaderboard, Simao is second on the NAPT Las Vegas Dream Seat Leaderboard behind Nick Petrangelo. For Simao, this was his 48th career PGT cash and 18th career PGT final table. He has $3,792,182 in career PGT earnings.
The 60-entrant field in Event #13: $10,200 No-Limit Hold'em / Pot-Limit Omaha paid the final nine players. Andrew Lichtenberger fell in ninth place and moved to 11th on the PGT leaderboard, while Seth Davies earned his fifth cash of the season and sits 61st on the PGT leaderboard. Thomas Eychenne and Jordan Glazer earned their fourth cashes for the season and sit 179th and 213th on the PGT leaderboard, respectively. Cherish Andrews cashed for the second time at NAPT Las Vegas and is 142nd on the PGT leaderboard, while this was Andrew Loomis' first cash of the season. Sam Soverel earned his 24th cash of the season and 100th career PGT cash to solidify his place in second on the PGT leaderboard with 2,619 PGT points.

The next PGT-qualifying event from NAPT Las Vegas is Event #12: $50,000 NAPT Super High Roller, with Day 2 registration open until November 6. The Event #22: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller is a two-day event beginning on November 6, while Event #30: $10,200 No-Limit Hold'em Knockout will take place on November 8. The final two PGT-qualifying events are Event #32: $12,300 PokerStars Cuatro Knockout on November 9, and Event #42: $10,300 NAPT High Roller.
