The man known as “The Magician” talks about how he discovered the craft he later became known for in poker, he opened up about being a dork in high school and the love he later found for the epic festival Burning Man.

Esfandiari still holds the record for the single biggest win in a poker tournament with the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop back in 2012. Back then, Esfandiari won $18.3 million, and currently he has $27.6 million in live tournament earnings, putting him fourth overall.
