The wait for Poker After Dark is over and the fan-favorite show that reached cult status returns with a brand-new broadcast for the first time in six years exclusively on PokerGO. Tom Dwan returns to US poker live with Daniel Negranu and Antonio Esfandiari for a $100,000 cash game.
The broadcast is live at PokerGO from the ARIA Resort and Casino for the next three hours. Ali Nejad returns to commentate, but takes a backseat to table talk with all the players mic’d up.
The first of three new episodes air Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with a rotating lineup that sees Doyle Brunson, Jean-Robert Bellande, Lauren Roberts, Andrew Robl and Bill Klein at the felt.
At approximately 7:15 pm ET ARIA Poker tweeted the live seat draw from Ivey’s Room with Roberts, Negreanu, Bellande and Esfandiari on-hand. They’ll be seated as follows:
Seat 1: Jean-Robert Bellande
Seat 2: Tom Dwan
Seat 3: Antonio Esfandiari
Seat 4: Lauren Roberts
Seat 5: Bill Klein
Seat 6: Daniel Negrean
About his return to Poker After Dark Dwan said, “I travel around a lot to play poker, and in Manila and Macau people ask me about those shows. All over the world people liked watching those, and every time I get asked ‘When will they be back?’ I’m excited that now, after six years, they will be back.”
“I’m happy to play on any show that Poker PROductions does, the cash games are bigger and in a much easier and relaxed environment and I have a good time doing them. Now seems like a good time for the show to be restarting and I’ll be there as much as I can.” Dwan added.
The six-handed cash game features a minimum $100,000 buy-in with $200/$400 blinds and a $400 button ante. Some of the riches players in tournament history are set for action and the cashier’s cage is open re-buys.
Each broadcast will last approximately three hours with cards hitting the air at 8 pm ET and shooting scheduled to 11 pm ET. The first three seasons are available on demand on PokerGO and the new episodes will be archived as soon as possible.
