A special guest delivered what everyone is playing for to the World Series of Poker Main Event on July 7 during Day 2ABC. Guy Fieri – aka the Mayor of Flavortown – escorted the massive gold bracelet awarded to this year’s winner to the PokerGO final table set.

The restaurateur, author, and Food Network star recently opened Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Sports Kitchen inside the Horseshoe, but was serving up some gold. He got right down to describing the massive piece of jewelry.

“Forty-two karats, over 2,300 stones, and I just about left town,” he said. “This right here is going to go to the big winner of 2023, an unprecedented event – record-breaking events that we're having here in Vegas at the Horseshoe. The opportunity to bring this out and present it and stack out the cash – what an honor. I'll see you at the big afterparty at Flavortown Sports Kitchen.”

This year’s Main Event shattered the record set in 2006 of 8,773 entries by seating 10,043 players in the 2023 WSOP Main Event.
