Sean Winter is the fourth player in PokerGO Tour® (PGT®) history to record 100 career PGT cashes. Winter secured the milestone during the 2025 WSOP Paradise at Atlantis Paradise Island when he cashed in Event #7: $10k Super PLOSSUS Pot-Limit Omaha, finishing in 29th place for $22,000 to lock up his 100th in-the-money result on the PGT.
Winter's first PGT cash came in January 2021 when he finished runner-up in a $10,000 buy-in ARIA High Roller Series event for $80,000. That debut season of the PGT began a run of consistency for Winter, who has qualified for the PGT Championship every year and averages 20 cashes per season. In 2021, Winer amassed 2,263 PGT points and 20 cashes to finish fourth on the PGT leaderboard. In 2022, he earned 2,368 PGT points and 20 cashes to finish fifth on the PGT leaderboard. In 2023, Winter finished 23rd on the PGT leaderboard with 1,301 PGT points and 19 cashes. In 2024, Winter accumulated 1,482 PGT points and cashed 20 times to finish 15th on the PGT leaderboard.
For the 2025 PGT season, Winter currently sits 29th on the PGT leaderboard with 1,227 PGT points and 21 cashes. His one victory this season came in the PGT PLO Series, where he won Event #5: $10,100 Pot-Limit Omaha PKO for $122,300 in prize money and $155,000 in bounties.
Winter is a long way from a third top-five finish on the PGT leaderboard, but Mr. Consistent is continuing to prove that he can convert his high volume in No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments into success with an average of 20 cashes each season, and nearly $13 million in PGT career earnings. He has also performed admirably in PGT majors, having been crowned the U.S. Poker Open and Poker Masters champion in 2022 and finishing runner-up on the 2019 and 2021 U.S. Poker Open leaderboards.

3rd: Jeremy Ausmus - 102
4th: Sean Winter - 100
T-5th: Daniel Negreanu - 98

Becoming only the fourth player to reach 100 cashes on the PGT is just another achievement to add to Winter's career accolades, which include seven PGT wins, a Triton Poker Series title, and many more high roller victories. He also ranks second overall for PGT series championships behind Chino Rheem (3), following his remarkable 2022 PGT season, where he won both the U.S. Poker Open Golden Eagle and the Poker Masters Purple Jacket.
