Sam Soverel leads the final five players in PGT Mixed Games Event #5: $15,800 Big Bet Mix, ahead of Matthew Wantman, Talal Shakerchi, Yuri Dzivielevski, and Patrick Leonard. On Monday, they'll return to the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas to battle for the $262,350 first-place prize. Soverel is in line to win his 14th PGT title.

The final five players come from a 53-entry field. For much of the late stages on Day 1, Soverel has the chip lead. He was able to bully his opponents around on the money bubble and further as they played down to the final table.

Brian Rast was eliminated on the bubble by Soverel, pushing the final eight players into the money. After the bubble burst, Nacho Barbero (6th - $47,700), Cary Katz (7th - $31,800), and Johannes Becker (8th - $31,800).

The final five players in PGT Mixed Games Event #5 will be back in action on Monday, February 9, to play to a winner. Everyone left is guaranteed $63,600, with a first-place prize of $262,350 up top.
