Ryan Bambrick is now a two-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner. On Tuesday, June 3, Bambrick topped Daniel Negreanu in heads-up play to win the 2025 WSOP $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo Championship for $470,437. Bambrick also earned 470 PGT leaderboard points.
When the players returned for the fourth and final day of play, five remained and Bambrick sat second in chips. It didn't take long for Bambrick to work his way into the chip lead. He won an early hand against start-of-day chip leader Viktor Blom. Bambrick made a better two pair on the river and was able to pick off some chips from Blom and take the top spot on the leaderboard. Although Blom took the lead back a short while later, it didn't last that long.
For nearly all of the final table, it was Bambrick's show, which included taking out Blom in fourth place. Blow began the day as chip leader but couldn't get much going. He ultimately went down to Bambrick's flush, leaving the Swede to have to wait for his first gold bracelet.
Negreanu did manage to knock out Hunter McClelland in fifth place and Ofir Mor in third place on the way to heads-up play, but he could never put a dent in Bambrick's stack to make it a real threat. Hand after hand, Bambrick got the better of Negreanu in the final duel, and it was all over after Bambrick made the nut full house to bust Negreanu holding trips. Negreanu finished in second place for $313,615.
Bambrick is now a two-time WSOP gold bracelet winner. His first came in 2018 when he won the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event. In that one, Bambrick topped a field of 799 entries to win $217,123.
