Through the first few installments of Poker After Dark‘s reboot, fans from around the world have seen some of the world’s best and most entertaining players compete in high stakes cash games and sit and go’s. That high stakes action has included Tom Dwan’s return to televised poker, a full week of talkative lineups, and the biggest cash games in Poker After Dark history.
Despite their differences, the first three weeks of Poker After Dark action have had one thing in common. No Limit Hold’em has been the game of choice.
That all changes later this month, when the reboot of Poker After Dark features Pot Limit Omaha for the first time. Starting September 26 and running through September 28, three days of high stakes Pot Limit Omaha, aptly titled “PLOMG,” hits Poker After Dark and PokerGO.
“PLOMG” week will feature three $300/$600 Pot Limit Omaha cash game sessions with $100,000 minimum buy-ins. This is the first time Pot Limit Omaha will run on Poker After Dark since 2011, when two $100,000 PLO cash games ran during Season 7. Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Phil Galfond, Brian Hastings, and Brandon Adams headlined those sessions.
Lineups for “PLOMG” week are to be announced, so stay tuned to both Poker Central and PokerGO to see who will be competing later this month. Until then, don’t miss any of the Poker Masters action, streaming live on PokerGO from September 13 – September 20, and watch the World Poker Tour crown another champion, when the WPT Borgata Poker Open final table streams live on PokerGO on September 22.
