The first partypoker Million North America CAD$5,300 Main Event at the Playground Poker Club outside Montreal hasn’t dealt a live card yet, but two online Day 1 flights already advanced 17 players to Day 2 on Sunday May 7 and leading the online contingent is Norson Saho with 6,394,000.
Most notably on the list of advancing players is Keven Stammen but he also has the shortest advancing stack with 546,000.
The site ran a number of Phase 1 online qualifiers which has already placed 159 players into the Main Event and only a few players used their ticket for an online Day 1.
The Playground deals their first live two Day 1 flights on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 at noon. Day 2 on Sunday will the first time the field joins as one, with late registration open until after the first break.
The event has a CAD$5 million guaranteed prize pool and CAD$1 million slated for the winner. The final table is scheduled of Wednesday, May 10. Full payout information will be available on Day 2 when registration closes.
