The second season of the PokerGO Tour is underway with nine events having played out heading into February’s PokerGO Cup.

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas hosted four PGT events before the back-half of the inaugural Stairway To Millions crowned four winners that earned PGT points. As the poker action headed to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood Florida, a $25,500 buy-in high roller closed January’s high roller action.

Following his wins in Event #7 and #8 of the Stairway To Millions, Nick Petrangelo sits atop of the PokerGO Tour leaderboard with 845 points ahead of Michael Wang who won Event #5 of the Stairway To Millions. Sitting third overall is 2021 PokerGO Tour Champion Ali Imsirovic who won the $25k Venetian High Roller and finished runner-up to Petrangelo in Event #7 of the Stairway To Millions.

Rounding out the top five is Jonathan Jaffe and Joseph Cheong who chopped the 93-entrant $25,500 High Roller at the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Series earlier this week. Jaffe took the lion’s share of the prize pool and consequently sits with 344 points ahead of Cheong’s 324 points.

Upcoming on the 2022 PokerGO Tour is the eight-event PokerGO Cup running from February 2-10, followed by three ARIA High Roller events from February 24-26. March will see the high roller action head to Sochi, Russia, for Triton Sochi and Super High Roller Series Russia which will culminate in the $250,000 Super High Roller Bowl Russia on March 12. Closing out the month will be the return of the 12-event U.S. Poker Open that is currently scheduled for March 16-28.
