The 2025 PGT season rolled through the World Series of Poker with 30 PGT-qualifying events that resulted in a shake-up of the entire PGT leaderboard.

Michael Mizrachi had one of the most impressive runs in poker history, winning both the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and the $10,000 Main Event. Mizrachi earned 2,250 PGT points from those two wins and rocketed up to the top of the PGT leaderboard. Mizrachi will still need one more cash to qualify for the PGT $1,000,000 Championship.

Alex Foxen cashed eight times for 1,101 PGT points and sits in second on the PGT leaderboard with 2,132 PGT points. Foxen has 17 cashes for the PGT season and has amassed $5,227,098 in PGT earnings. Sam Soverel cashed seven times at the WSOP for 1,301 PGT points and now sits third on the PGT leaderboard with 1,883 PGT points. For the 2025 PGT season, Soverel has 16 cashes and $2,168,528 in earnings.

Nick Schulman earned his seventh WSOP bracelet in the $10k No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw and six total PGT cashes at the WSOP for 818 PGT points. Schulman is now fourth on the PGT leaderboard with 1,781 PGT points. Daniel Negreanu cashed ten times at the WSOP in PGT-qualifying events and earned 786 PGT points. Negreanu is now fifth on the PGT leaderboard with 1,597 PGT points.

Courtesy of their impressive WSOP Main Event runs, Adam Hendrix, John Wasnock, and Braxton Dunaway enter the Top 10 on the PGT leaderboard. Hendrix sits sixth with 1,503 PGT points from his four PGT cashes, while Wasnock parlays his runner-up finish to seventh on the PGT leaderboard with 1,350 PGT points, and Dunaway sits ninth with 1,250 PGT points. Chino Rheem earned 301 PGT points at the WSOP and sits eighth on the PGT leaderboard with 1,327 PGT points, while rounding out the top ten is Philip Sternheimer with 1,214 PGT points and nine cashes.

PGT Championship Qualification & Player of the Year Bonus

Players who finish the 2025 PGT season ranked in the top 40 of the PGT leaderboard and have cashed in three PGT events throughout the season will earn qualification for the season-ending PGT $1,000,000 Championship freeroll. The PGT $1,000,000 Championship winner will take home $500,000 with additional payouts for the final table paid as a combination of cash and a PGT Passport. The player who finishes the 2025 PGT season with the most leaderboard points will be named PGT Player of the Year and be awarded a $50,000 PGT Passport.

What's Next On the PGT Schedule?

The inaugural PGT Bounty Series will take place at the PokerGO Studio from September 1-6, 2025, featuring a six-event schedule. The series will be all $5,100 No-Limit Hold'em events and have a variety of different bounty-styled events.

Following the PGT Bounty Series will be a new event running from September 11-15, 2025, while the Poker Masters will begin later in September. October will see the return of the PGT PLO Series and Super High Roller Bowl: $100k Pot-Limit Omaha, along with a few new events. The PGT will head back to Champions Club in Houston, Texas, in November for the Texas PLO Roundup.
