Welsh player Gruffudd Pugh-Jones emerged victorious following a three-way ICM chop to claim $148,500 and 119 PGT points. Pugh-Jones took home the most money and, therefore, claims his first career PGT title.
Sean Rafael took home $141,700 and the PGT Gold Cup after a final flip, while Richard Gryko took home $134,800 in the deal. Pugh-Jones moves up to 193rd on the PGT leaderboard with 290 points, Rafael moves up to 14th on the leaderboard with 1,287 points, and Gryko moves into the highly sought-after top 40 as he is now 38th on the leaderboard with 1,099 points.
The second of two single-day $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha High Rollers drew a 35-entrant field, generating a prize pool of $525,000, and the top five finishers made it into the money.
The three remaining players played for over an hour and were still relatively even in chips. Eventually, Pugh-Jones, Rafael, and Gryko agreed to an ICM chop. They continued to play and ultimately flipped for the trophy. Rafael flopped a full house to score the PGT Gold Cup, while Pugh-Jones secured the title after winning the most money.
