After five days of segmented play, the World Series of Poker Main Event field is finally being combined for today’s Day 3 session. In total, 2,572 players will return and while Day 3 is usually the day where the entire field, or should we say, those fortunate enough to still be alive, gets the chance to celebrate cashing in the Main Event. With 1,084 players cashing in this year’s Main, that bubble may not actually burst until early in Day 4. Bubble aside, live coverage of the WSOP Main Event returns for Day 3.
Unlike some past days, where live coverage has jumped between PokerGO and ESPN, today’s Day 3 live stream will be on PokerGO for the long haul. The PokerGO live stream will begin at 11:30 AM PT and deliver non-stop action until 6:15 PM PT, which will be around when the Day 3 dinner break begins.
The PokerGO feature table is headlined by 2005 Main Event winner Joe Hachem and 2016 Super High Roller Bowl champion, Rainer Kempe. The Aussie and German will be under a microscope on the main feature table but each PokerGO streamed table features players from around the globe.
The first outer feature table is the most international of them all, with players from Canada, Russia, Belgium and from around the United States. Former November Niners Chino Rheem and Kenny Hallaert headline that lineup and each come back over the 300,000 chip mark.
The second outer table includes two players from the United Kingdom, Britain’s Katie Swift and Ireland’s Donnacha O’Dea, who final tabled the Main Event in 1983, as well as Ukrainian born professional Yevgeniy Timoshenko. On this side of the Atlantic, bracelet winner Jonathan Hilton and former WSOP Player of the Year Allen Cunningham round out the outer table lineup.
With big names from around the world streaming live on PokerGO and the Main Event field moving closer to the money, you won’t want to miss any of the action. Play begins at 11 AM PT, with the PokerGO live stream starting at 11:30 AM PT and running until around 6:15 PM PT. Click here for event replays of past day’s WSOP Main Event action.
