Over the last month, ARIA has been home to some of the world’s biggest poker action. Poker After Dark cash games and winner-take-all sit and go’s have brought the highest stakes back to television, with on-demand event replays currently available on PokerGO, and the ARIA High Rollers have continued to prep the High Roller community for next week’s Poker Masters series.

This weekend’s action was the last warm up for the high stakes community before Poker Masters begins on September 13 and Florida professional Sean Winter picked up where he left off in the opening $10,000 High Roller. After winning his first ARIA High Roller of the year in August’s $10,000 event, Winter went back-to-back and emerged victorious from Thursday’s 27-player $10,000 High Roller.

Winter took home the lion’s share of the $270,000 prize pool, earning just shy of $110,000 for the win. 2016 GPI Player of the Year David Peters finished 2nd, for nearly $100,000, while Isaac Haxton, who will be making his Poker After Dark debut this week, notched a min-cash for his 4th place finish.

The weekend concluded with a 10-player $25,000 High Roller and Jake Schindler, who finished 2nd in this year’s Super High Roller Bowl, recorded his third ARIA High Roller victory of 2017. The $175,000 win also pushed Schindler over $8 million in career ARIA earnings, good for 2nd on the all-time list, while runner-up Cary Katz extended his lead on the all-time ARIA cashes list.

Katz has cashed in ARIA High Roller events 32 times in his career, good for eight cashes more than both Tom Marchese and Jake Schindler, who are currently tied for 2nd on that all-time list. Over the last two years, that threesome has been some of ARIA’s most successful, in terms of both quantity and quality, meaning they’ll be serious contenders to hoist the Poker Masters Purple Jacket™ later this month.

Over the next week, Poker Central will preview the Poker Masters series and the players that will be competing for poker’s most stylish trophy. The entire five-event high stakes series will be streamed exclusively on PokerGO, beginning September 13.
