Following an extremely fast penultimate day of play in Event #53: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller, the final table has been set with Hong Kong’s Ka Kwan Lau holding the chip lead over the final five players at the 2021 World Series of Poker.
Lau sits with nearly 10.8 million in chips ahead of WSOP bracelet winner John Beauprez with 8.7 million in chips. Rounding out the final table includes Maxx Coleman, four-time WSOP bracelet winner Shaun Deeb, and Veselin Karakitukov.
Each player has locked up $276,870 in prize money, but all eyes are on the $1,251,860 first-place prize, coveted WSOP bracelet, and title of Event #53 champion.
The cards are in the air for the final five players at 4 p.m. PT, while the PokerGO stream is scheduled to begin airing at 5 p.m. PT.
