Sam Soverel is now a three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner. Soverel emerged victorious in Event #94: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship to earn $986,337 in prize money and 986 PGT points.
Soverel's fourth-largest career score propels him to more than $26,630,000 in lifetime tournament earnings, according to The Hendon Mob. His third WSOP bracelet follows a 2016 victory in the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha for $185,317 and the 2023 victory in the WSOP Online $5,300 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller Championship for $393,516.
Event #94 attracted 546 entrants and generated a prize pool of $5,077,800, which was distributed to the final 82 players. Players to finish in the money included Justin Saliba, Jim Collopy, Ryan Riess, Ren Lin, Josh Arieh, Brian Yoon, Adrian Mateos, David 'ODB' Baker, Brian Rast, Matt Glantz, Erick Lindgren, David Coleman, Mike Matusow, Sean Winter, Mike Watson, and Daniel Negreanu.
The additional day of play was added after the final four bagged up early on Day 3. Soverel held a huge lead with 111 big blinds of the 164 big blinds in play. Klemens Roiter was the first elimination in fourth place when he was all-in on the flop with a pair and gutshot against Soverel's flopped straight. Isaac Kempton was then eliminated in third place when he was all-in with pocket jacks against Soverel's ace-four. An ace landed on the flop and the final table was down to heads-up play with Soverel holding 27.7 million in chips to Daniel Vicente's 5 million.
After a few hands of heads-up play, Vicent moved all-in for 11 big blinds with nine-seven and Soverel called with jack-ten suited. The board bricked out and Soverel won with jack-high to claim his third WSOP bracelet.

Event #94 of the 2025 World Series of Poker was the 29th and penultimate PGT-qualifying event of the series. With Sam Soverel's victory, he moves to second on the PGT leaderboard with 1,883 PGT points. Daniel Vicente sits 62nd overall after claiming his first PGT cash of the season.
Isaac Kempton's third-place finish pushed to 49th on the PGT leaderboard with 730 PGT points. Klemens Roiter is now 110th on the PGT leaderboard, while Eric Wasserson is 61st with 656 PGT points and eight cashes. This was Leonard Maue's third cash of the season, and he sits 146th.
