Poker After Dark is back and opens a massive September live events schedule on PokerGO with three days of high stakes action. While the previous two weeks of Poker After Dark sessions separated cash games and sit and go formats, “Rumble with Jungle” week combines those two poker variants to create never-before-seen Poker After Dark action.
Daniel “Jungleman” Cates will headline all three nights of play, which opens with Tuesday’s $50,000 winner-take-all sit and go and concludes with two days of $300/$600 nosebleed No Limit Hold’em cash games.
The $50,000 SNG will also feature former World Series of Poker Player of the Year Frank Kassela. The three-time bracelet winner is arguably one of the best amateur players in the world, with experience at the WSOP and in some of Las Vegas’ biggest cash games.
The rest of the sit and go lineup has similar experience in the world’s biggest games and tournaments. Brian Rast, who won the 2015 Super High Roller Bowl and is a two-time $50,000 Poker Players Championship winner, returns to Poker After Dark, along with tournament specialist Jason Koon.
Online legend Isaac Haxton, who was the feature of a recent Pokerography episode, and $111,111 High Roller for One Drop winner Doug Polk are also set to make their Poker After Dark debuts and will play in all three “Rumble with Jungle” sessions.
The first session of the week will open “Rumble with Jungle” week with some big payouts, with tonight’s winner earning $300,000, and you can watch all the action on PokerGO when the cards get in the air at 8 PM ET.
