The Big Blind is now available on YouTube and Facebook with the 13-episode season being reaired every Friday.
Originally premiering on PokerGO, The Big Blind brings celebrities and poker personalities together to test their knowledge on gambling, casinos, and everything Las Vegas in a one-of-a-kind trivia show.
The Big Blind was hosted by Jeff Platt as he guided three contestants through the unique game show format. Each contestant began with 10,000 in tournament chips and would follow a limit hold’em betting structure. The question category would be revealed, and contestants would base their betting on their confidence level in that category with a question for the flop, turn, and river with contestants continuing to wager like they would in a normal poker game.
The top two contestants would progress through to the quarterfinals from Round 1, and six contestants would advance to the semifinals. Three contestants would reach the finals where they would be in-the-money and be playing for $15,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place, and $5,000 for third place.
Round 1 would feature six games before play progressed to the quarterfinals, and in Game 1 the contestants included comedian Norm Macdonald, 2003 WSOP Main Event winner Chris Moneymaker, and Las Vegas professional poker player Justin Young.
The Big Blind can be rewatched on YouTube via the above video which goes live at 3 p.m. ET, while it is available on Facebook at 3 p.m. ET.
