Looking to dive deeper into the lives of your favorite poker players? Real Talk on PokerGO does just that, as PokerGO’s latest Original series, hosted by yours truly, explores the most interesting topics in the game with some of its most important characters.

On this episode of Real Talk, we talk to 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Scott Blumstein. Out of nowhere, Blumstein took the 2017 Main Event by storm, his epic run broadcasted live on ESPN and PokerGO for the first time in poker history, taking home $8.15 million to change his life for good.

“Growing up in poker it’s everyone’s dream to play the Main Event, and mine was no different,” Blumstein said about the start of his journey to poker fame and riches.

As a first-timer in the world’s biggest tournament, Blumstein used being an unknown player to his advantage on his way to winning millions of dollars. On Real Talk, Blumstein gives a direct example on how this helped him in a big pot, deep in the tournament, versus Ben Lamb.
