Maxx Coleman Wins 2021 Poker Masters Event #6: $10,000 8-Game for $120,000
An all new Poker After Dark lineup is set and next week, “Rumble with Jungle” will stream exclusively on PokerGO. Daniel “Jungleman” Cates headlines three nights of high stakes action, beginning with Tuesday night’s $50,000 Sit & Go. Wednesday and Thursday will see nosebleed cash games on Poker After Dark, with even bigger stakes than the “The Return of Tom Dwan” series premiere. The $300/$600 No Limit Hold’em cash game will feature a minimum buy-in of $200,000 and two star-studded lineups.
After three winner-take-all Sit & Go’s during “Voices Carry” week, the same format will return to open next week’s action. The only difference, a bigger buy-in, and a bigger payout. The last player standing will walk away with $300,000, and some of the world’s best players will square off at the six-handed table. Jason Koon and Brian Rast return, along with first-timers Doug Polk and Isaac Haxton making their Poker After Dark debut.
Polk, who will play in all three “Rumble with Jungle” sessions, has built a massively popular YouTube channel and social media following over the last few years, while also launching Upswing Poker. The high stakes regular has also continued to perform on the felt, winning this summer’s $111,111 High Roller for One Drop, good for his third-career WSOP bracelet. Another player that claimed another WSOP win this summer – and will make their PAD debut next week – is Frank Kassela. The former WSOP Player of the Year has three WSOP bracelets and $3 million in career earnings.
The next two nights of action feature back-to-back $300/$600 No Limit Hold’em games with a $200,000 minimum buy-in.
Both cash game lineups contain the same core players, with some of the world’s best high stakes players surrounding Polk and Cates. Matt Berkey, who won the first “Voices Carry” $25,000 Sit & Go, returns to Poker After Dark, along with Brian Rast and Nick Schulman. Schulman recorded two runner-up finishes during “Voices Carry” week, meaning he’ll be looking to have his third PAD appearance be the charm. Haxton – who was the feature of a recent Pokerography episode stays in the game for all three nights.
Haxton, Schulman, Berkey, Polk, and Cates return for the “Rumble with Jungle” finale, with Jason Koon rounding out the six-handed Thursday lineup. A complete rundown of “Rumble with Jungle” lineups is provided below:
