The 2026 PGT season continued with its second series of the season as PGT Mixed Games took center stage in the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a PGT Mixed Games first-timer who emerged victorious to win Event #1: $5,100 8-Game as Justin Liberto won his first PGT title.
Liberto earned $127,400 in prize money and 191 PGT points to move to second on the PGT Mixed Games leaderboard. This was Liberto's sixth-largest career win and first since August 2024. Liberto now has amassed more than $7,145,000 in career tournament earnings, according to The Hendon Mob. Although this was Liberto's first PGT win, it was his 15th career PGT cash and third career PGT final table. He now has $992,851 in career PGT earnings.
The second event of PGT Mixed Games attracted 98 entrants and created a prize pool that paid the final 14 players. Benny Glaser was eliminated on the money bubble, and following that, Chad Eveslage, Chino Rheem, Phil Hui, Eli Elezra, Patrick Stacey, Jeff Madsen, and Maxx Coleman were all eliminated prior to the final table. The final seven decided to continue playing as Event #2 was not being livestreamed on PokerGO.com.
Brian Rast exited in seventh place and was soon followed by PGT Mixed Games first-timer Ryan Hoenig. Following the eliminations of Benjamin Miner in fifth place and Maksim Pisarenko in fourth place, the final three called it a night, with Calvin Anderson holding a slight lead over Justin Liberto, while Johannes Becker was the short stack.
On the resumption of play, Becker was an early casualty when he ran into Anderson's seven-low in Razz. Anderson held a 9,000,000 to 5,700,000 chip lead over Liberto at the start of heads-up play. Liberto began to clip away at Anderson's lead and eventually surged ahead. In 2-7 Triple Draw, Liberto drew three and made a wheel to get maximum value against Anderson to have a 13.5 million to 1.3 million chip advantage.
Anderson managed a double in the same orbit when he was pat with a ten-seven against a drawing Liberto, before the final hand played out in Stud. Anderson was all-in on fifth street with a pair and straight draw against Liberto's inferior buried tens. Liberto struck his gin card on sixth to improve to trips, and when Anderson was unable to improve, he was eliminated in second place for $80,850 as Liberto earned his first career PGT title, $127,400 in prize money, and 191 PGT points.
