Hal Rotholz earned his first-ever PGT victory on Friday with his victory in PGT Mixed Games II Event #7: $10,200 Triple Draw Mix. Rotholz topped the field of 51 entries to win the $163,200 first-place prize.
Rotholz entered the final day of play second in chips with four players remaining. The leader entering the final day was Nick Schulman, and that's who Rotholz found himself heads up with for the title. Schulman was chasing his second title of this series but ultimately had to settle for second place.

Going back to the end of Day 1, Hal Rotholz busted Julio Belluscio in seventh place, did the majority of the damage to Chino Rheem before he went out in sixth place, and then he knocked out David "ODB" Baker in fifth place.
At the final table on Friday, Rotholz busted all three of his opponents. He knocked out Andrew Yeh in fourth place, then eliminated Jeremy Ausmus in third place. The heads-up match against Nick Schulman swung back and forth, but in the end, it was Rotholz's day and he came out on top.
The result was Rotholz's second cash of the series and pushed him into fifth place on the PGT MIxed Games II series leaderboard. Chino Rheem, who cashed in sixth place in this event, is still at the top of the leaderboard. Nick Schulman, who lost to Rotholz heads up in this event, is second behind Rheem.
