Day 2 of the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl resumes at 1 pm PT with 44 players. Day 1 saw the field play seven levels and Byron Kaverman finished play as the only player with a stack over a million. The day’s action is available exclusively on PokerGO.
Kevin Hart starts the day at the feature table with just below the starting stack – which isn’t too far off the average stack, but he is the short stack at his table. He’ll have his hands full with five top pros on his left – Nick Petrangelo, Jason Koon, 2015 SHR Bowl winner Brian Rast, 2016 SHR Bowl runner-up Fedor Holz and David Einhorn.
Kaverman starts the day with two of the shortest stacks at his table – Isaac Haxton (62,000) and Tom Marchese (59,000). The rest of the table sits below average with Koray Aldemir (344,500), Jason Les (194,000) and Daniel Negreanu (327,500).
Kicking off at 1 pm on Poker Central’s Facebook page is the Live Sweat Show hosted by Remko Rinkema, Brent Hanks and Will O’Connor. During the six-hour show several special guests are lined up, special video packages and commentary on the day’s action. Some players that are eliminated during the Sweat Show will stop by to discuss their tournament experience.
Day 2 gets cards in the air 1 pm and Day 2’s full broadcast is available exclusively on PokerGO. Nick Schulman and Ali Nejad are the live commentary team while Kara Scott and Jesse Sylvia handle hosting duties during breaks to recap the level.
Aria’s Tournament Director Paul Campbell posted the full Day 2 seat draw.
