The fourth annual PokerGO Cup signified the first major series of the 2024 PokerGO Tour (PGT) season, and David Coleman remains the front-runner on top of the PGT Leaderboard with 937 PGT points after winning PokerGO Cup Event #6: $15,100 No-Limit Hold'em to add to his two PGT Kickoff event victories earlier in January.
Coleman also cashed in Event #2 and made a run in Event #8 as a top-three finish ensured he was crowned the PokerGO Cup champion. Unfortunately, Coleman was eliminated before the money. Kristen Foxen retains her spot in second overall on the PGT leaderboard after she finished eighth in Event #4 and second in Event #7. The biggest mover on the PGT leaderboard is PokerGO Cup champion Jonathan Little, who cashed in four events and won Event #3 for $229,500 and Event #8 for $453,750 to amass 549 PGT points.
After winning PGT Kickoff Event #2 for $121,500, Dylan Weisman emerged victorious in PokerGO Cup Event #2 for $240,300. He sits in fourth on the PGT leaderboard with 505 PGT points ahead of David Peters, who won Event #1 for $141,525 and Event #7 for $315,500 to sit in fifth overall with 457 PGT points.
Sitting outside the Top 5 is Aram Zobian, who has cashed four times to start the season, while Justin Zaki is in seventh overall, having won Event #5 for $232,400 and finishing runner-up to Little in Event #8. Stephen Chidwick, Seth Davies, and Daniel Negreanu round out the Top 10 on the PGT leaderboard after the first 13 events of the 2024 PGT season.
