The ARIA High Roller Series returns to the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a 13-event schedule from June 19 to July 8, 2024.
Considering the competitive World Series of Poker and Wynn Las Vegas tournament schedules, the ARIA High Roller Series will give high-stakes players more opportunities to play these single-day high rollers in between the bigger events taking place throughout Las Vegas. Compared to the 2023 schedule, the ARIA High Roller Series will look to capitalize on the PGT PLO Series success and double down on the popularity of Pot-Limit Omaha by tripling the Pot-Limit Omaha events on offer.
The 13-event schedule will include eight Pot-Limit Omaha Omaha tournaments before switching to five consecutive No-Limit Hold'em tournaments. The ARIA High Roller Series will open with two $5,100 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments following the WSOP $1,500 Mixed Pot-Limit Omaha and WSOP $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha. The WSOP $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship will begin on June 26, and on either side of Day 1 will be two $10,100 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments. On Day 3 of the WSOP $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller will be a $15,000 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha tournament, followed by the final $5,100 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments of the series.
Beginning on July 4, there will be five consecutive $10,100 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em tournaments. These will overlap Day 1B, 1C, 1D, 2ABC, and 2D of the WSOP Main Event. In 2023, the final stretch of No-Limit Hold'em high rollers averaged 80 entrants in each event, with the finale of the ARIA High Roller Series attracting 130 entrants.
Each ARIA High Roller Series event will begin at 2 p.m. PT, with registration ending at approximately 6:30 p.m. PT. Players in the registration line by 2 p.m. PT will qualify for a fee discount on their first entry. Levels will be 30 minutes in duration with eight levels of registration and a break every four levels. Entering at the start of Level 9 will see players begin the 3,000/6,000 blind level with 125,000 in chips.
The PGT shot clock will be 20 seconds preflop and 30 seconds postflop. Time extensions will be distributed according to a player's entry point in the tournament; entering before the first break will yield players eight-time extensions while entering afterward will yield players with six-time extensions. Additional time extensions will be distributed to players in the money if the field exceeds 71 entrants (2-time extensions) or 85 entrants (3-time extensions). The final seven players will receive six (6) additional time extensions, and the final table redraw is also at seven players.
The ARIA High Roller Series is part of the 2024 PGT season with players earning PGT points based on the amount they cash for. The Top 40 eligible players, as ranked by the PGT leaderboard at the end of the season, will qualify for the season-ending PGT Championship $1,000,000 freeroll. Players who do not qualify for the PGT Championship will have additional opportunities throughout the year to win a Dream Pass into the PGT Championship Dream Seat Invitational, qualifying six players into the PGT Championship via a Dream Seat.
