Who Will Be Crowned the 2025 PGT PLO Series II Champion?

Previous PGT PLO Series champions include Lautaro Guerra (2023), Daniel Geeng (2023), Samuli Sipila (2024), Matthew Wantman (2024), and Jesse Lonis (2025).

Those players are all the betting favorites to contend for the 2025 PGT PLO Series II title. Wantman and Lonis are PGT regulars and will without doubt be in attendance, while Guerra hasn't missed a PGT PLO Series yet. Both Sipila and Geeng have missed a few, but Sipila will likely return for the October series with his fellow European contingent of crushers that include Joni Jouhkimainen, Eelis Parsinnen, and Jonas Kronwitter.

Other favorites are local players, including 2024 PGT Player of the Year, Jeremy Ausmus, alongside Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen, Nick Schulman, Dylan Weisman, and a recently relocated Josh Arieh. Players traveling to attend the PGT PLO Series include Bryce Yockey, Allan Le, and Ronald Kiejzer. They are all also among the favorites to contend for the series title.

Some players who will be looking to use the PGT PLO Series as a springboard to improve their position on the PGT leaderboard are Alex Foxen, Sam Soverel, Adam Hendrix, and Chino Rheem. These four players dominate the top ten on the PGT leaderboard and are looking up to Michael Mizrachi, who leads with 2,250 PGT points. Foxen is second overall with 2,132 PGT points and will likely dethrone Mizrachi in the coming months. Soverel is third overall with 1,883 PGT points and is a few big wins away from moving into first. On the back of his WSOP Main Event run, Hendrix sits sixth with 1,503 PGT points and can improve on his position for the PGT $1,000,000 Championship in his best game of Pot-Limit Omaha. Rheem is in eighth place with 1,327 PGT points and will look to capitalize on his strong start to the season by moving into the top five.

How to Watch the 2025 PGT PLO Series?

The ten events of the 2025 PGT PLO Series II are two-day events, and the first nine events will play down to the final table with the players returning on the next day to conclude play in the PokerGO Studio Triangle Room. The $25k Pot-Limit Omaha Championship plays just twelve levels on Day 1, and the livestream on Day 2 will begin once the final table is set.

The first ten events will be livestreamed on OTT service PokerGO from 4 p.m. ET from October 15-25, 2025. Day 1 coverage of each event will be handled exclusively by the PGT Live Reporting Team on PGT.com.
