The third and final night of Poker After Dark’s “PLOMG” $100,000 Cash Game was highlighted by two new faces at the table – Josh Arieh and Chance Kornuth. Both are solid pros making their PokerGO and PAD debut against Daniel Cates, Isaac Haxton, Brandon Adams and Phil Galfond.

Kornuth was seated to Cates’ direct left and seemed to enjoy every crack and needle he could throw Jungleman’s day. Arieh was on Kornuth’s left and added his flair to “PLOMG” after tweeting the players were nits Wednesday night.

Arieh started off the night on the right foot, looking to get action going.

The combination of personalities at the table made for some interesting table talk among great poker minds.

Arieh invited the table to have a drink with him and Brandon Adams on his left declined because he had to fly home later that night. Arieh cocked his head around and said, “What, like flying the plane?”

“No, I don’t really sleep on planes…” Adams trailed off.

Cates missed a sizable three-bet pot between Kornuth and Galfond. Cates was asking Kornuth about the details and he replied, “There’s no replays here bro.”

Haxton asked Arieh what he’d been up to lately and he replied a little golf and gambling and that he owned a pool hall outside Atlanta. But Arieh wasn’t excited about the upcoming NBA season, “Gambling from a basketball perspective is just stupid,” he said. “Twenty years ago if a team had a 20 point lead, they’d win. But now, everyone goes on a rush. You never know.”

“We should make a rule where if you put money in and get three-bet you can’t fold,” Kornuth said.

“Well, there’s been a couple times where I thought I might fold if I faced a three-bet,” Cates replied literally.

“No, I’m fucking with Brandon,” Kornuth said through a smile. “We’re friends, I don’t feel bad about it.”

The action continues for two more hours live on PokerGO from the ARIA Resort & Casino. Then, new episodes of Poker After Dark are scheduled for October 10-12 and catch up on all the “PLOMG” action under Event Replays only on PokerGO.
