The 2025 PGT Bounty Blitz continued from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Event #2: $5,100 No-Limit Hold'em Escalator. The tournament drew 48 entries, and Sergio Aido leads the final six players.

Aido surged to the top of the counts early on when he got queens in against tens to win a pot of over 100 big blinds. The Spaniard continued to chip up and scored a bounty to burst the bubble en route to the overnight chip lead. Aido leads a final table that includes Chino Rheem, Chris Hunichen, Michael Berk, Event #1 winner Jeremy Becker, and Sean Winter. These six players will return already guaranteed $10,100, while all eyes will be on the $47,500 first-place prize in addition to the bounties, 79 PGT points, and the Event #2 Bounty Blitz trophy.

The field of 48 entrants created a prize pool of $240,000, with $96,000 allocated to the bounties, and the final seven players earned a piece of the regular prize pool. In this Escalator format, bounties were worth $500 from the start and increased to $1,000 after the end of registration. Once the field reached 14 players, each bounty increased to $5,300, with the final bounty being worth $5,100.

Yifu He was the unfortunate bubble boy when he got his chips in blind-versus-blind with ace-ten against Aido's queen-four. Aido paired his four, and the seven players converged on a single table in the money. After exchanging chips around the table, Hunichen won a race to double through Andress. Soon after, Hunichen took the rest to eliminate Andress in seventh place, while the six remaining players bagged to return for the streamed final table.
