Seminole Tampa to Host 2 High Rollers Starting August 31

The 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Tampa (SHRT) runs from August 25 to September 7 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida.

There are 32 trophy events on the schedule centered around the $3,500 buy-in WPT Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Championship that features a $1 million prize pool guarantee and two starting flights. 

During this year's SHRT, two high-roller events will be on the schedule, allowing players to earn PokerGO Tour (PGT) points. After the 2022 PGT season, the top 21 players on the PGT leaderboard will be invited to partake in the PGT Championship for the winner-take-all $500,000 top prize.

Event #18: $25,500 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em
Day 1: Wednesday, August 31, at 4 p.m. ET
Day 2: Thursday, September 1, at 2 p.m. ET
Levels: 40 minutes
Registration: Unlimited reentry ending at the start of Level 10

Event #30: $10,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em
Day 1: Monday, September 5, at 2 p.m. ET
Day 2: Tuesday, September 6, at 2 p.m. ET
Levels: 40 minutes
Registration: Unlimited reentry ending after the 90-minute dinner break and before the start of level 10

Upcoming on the PGT Schedule

September is a busy month for the PGT with Triton Mediterranean Poker Party beginning on September 5 with 13 events scheduled, 12 of them earning PGT points. Stairway To Millions makes its debut at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas from September 8-20 before Poker Masters returns to the PokerGO Studio from September 21 to October 3.

Super High Roller Bowl VII starts on October 5 with the highly anticipated $300,000 buy-in set to attract some of the game's best players. Four ARIA High Rollers will also run from October 3-4 and October 6-7 before the PGT high roller action heads to The Bellagio from October 8-22 for 13 PGT high rollers and the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic.
