Ryan Riess rocketed to the top of the poker world when he won the 2013 WSOP Main Event. He’s improved as player over the last four years and won his first World Poker Tour title in April. Riess traveled to Monte Carlo and Montreal for live events but while in Canada he picked up the largest cash of his online career.
“It’s my biggest ever online score,” Riess said on Thursday. “I really wanted the SCOOP title but I guess that will have to wait.”
Riess returned home to Michigan, returns to Windsor on Sunday to play online and then finishes out SCOOP from Montreal on May 16th – leading into the World Series of Poker. “I’m playing it
as it comes,” he said. “I’ll be playing all of the No Limit
and a few Mixed Games.”
