Last week, Poker Central announced the lineups and schedules for the biggest cash game in Poker After Dark history. It looks like those games are going to be even bigger than expected though, as entrepreneur and high stakes cash game player Rick Salomon is confirmed to fill the “TBD” spot during the first two nights of action.
Three $500/$1,000 No Limit Hold’em sessions with minimum buy-ins of $300,000 will feature hedge fund manager and High Roller Bill Perkins, who will headline “Perks of the Trade” week, along with some of the world’s top professionals, including Doug Polk, Phil Galfond, and Daniel “Jungleman” Cates.
Salomon will compete against the previously mentioned Perkins and Galfond on Tuesday, October 17, along with Brian Rast, Haralabos Voulgaris, and Aaron Zang. He’ll then return Wednesday, October 18, to run it back with Perkins, Voulgaris, Zang, Cates, and Matt Berkey.
While Salomon is primarily a high stakes cash game player, the Californian has had success in the world’s biggest tournaments. Salomon finished 4th in the 2014 version of the $1,000,000 buy-in The Big One for One Drop and then notched a 3rd place result when the event was held in Monte Carlo in 2016.
After big results in The Big One, Salomon will make his Poker After Dark debut this week. The biggest cash games in PAD history will give Salomon an opportunity for another big result and, along with Bill Perkins, should drive the action when “Perks of the Trade” begins on Tuesday, October 17.
Until then, relive past Poker After Dark episodes through PokerGO’s event replay library and stay tuned to Poker Central and PokerGO for features, interviews, updates, and content during “Perks of the Trade” week.
