The 2025 Poker Masters continued from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the penultimate offering, Event #9: $15,100 No-Limit Hold’em. The tournament drew 67 entries, and Kristen Foxen leads the final six players.

Foxen scored several knockouts in the evening and sent multiple players home before the end of the night, including her husband and current Purple Jacket frontrunner, Alex Foxen. Alex became the first player to reach 100 career PGT cashes with his runner-up finish at the Event #8 final table earlier in the day, and Kristen denied him 101 by eliminating him a couple of spots away from the money in Event #9 en route to holding the overnight chip lead with one-third of the chips in play.

She leads a final table that includes Justin Saliba, Jesse Lonis, Chris Hunichen, Sam Laskowitz, and Cary Katz. These six players will return with $55,500 locked up, but all eyes will be on the $301,000 first-place prize, 241 PGT points, and the brand-new Poker Masters Purple Jacket trophy.

The field of 67 entrants created a prize pool of $1,005,000, and the final 10 players earned a piece of it. David Coleman was the unfortunate bubble boy when he was racing with nines against the ace-ten of Foxen, and a ten spiked the river. David Chen (10th), Chino Rheem (9th), and Filipp Khavin (8th) were the first to fall in the money.

The field then converged on a single table, and soon after, Nick Schulman was eliminated in seventh place when he ran two pair into Saliba's set of ducks. Two more levels were played, and Foxen emerged as the end-of-day chip leader before the six remaining players bagged to return for the streamed final table.

Katz grabbed his fourth cash of the series, and with a victory, he could overtake Alex Foxen and move atop the series leaderboard in the race for the prestigious Poker Masters Purple Jacket and a $25,000 PGT Passport. Lonis and Laskowitz each picked up their third cash of the series, while Foxen, Saliba, and Hunichen each notched their second.
