Ian Johns is now a four-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner after emerging victorious over the 118-entrant field in Event #41: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship. Johns earned $282,455 and 282 PGT points and became the latest player to win the same event for at least the second time following his 2016 victory.

Johns' other WSOP bracelets include the $3,000 Limit Hold'em in 2006 for $291,755, and $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. in 2016 for $212,604. His two Limit Hold'em Championship wins amount to $290,635 and $282,455, respectively. Johns' lifetime tournament earnings, according to The Hendon Mob, now exceed $1,955,000.

The $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship saw a slight decline in field size following the 133-entrant field in 2024. The final 18 players of the 118-entrant field in 2025 were in the money, and those falling short of the final table included Dario Alioto, Patrick Leonard, John Hennigan, Benjamin Underwood, Jeremy Ausmus, and Dzmitry Urbanovich.

The final nine players returned for Day 3 with Viktor Blom holding the chip lead. Scott Bohlman was searching for his second win of the series, but he was the first to fall when Max Hoffman's flush outdrew his pocket aces. Daniel Negreanu's day ended in eighth place when his ace-ten was outdrawn by the queen-nine of David Lieberman. Lieberman, however, fell next in seventh when he was forced all-in from the big blind with jack-deuce and couldn't improve against Hoffman's pocket nines.

Hoffman then bowed out in sixth when his ace-queen was outkicked by Pedro Neves' ace-king on the ace-high flop. Ryan Bambrick exited in fifth place when his ace-ten was outdrawn by the king-queen suited and ace-king of Neves and Anthony Zinno, respectively. The final four players were then sent on a dinner break prior to the PokerGO livestream kicking into gear.

Zinno surged into the chip lead before Neves was eliminated in fourth place. He was all-in on the turn with a flopped bottom pair and a flush draw, but couldn't improve against Johns' flopped top pair. Zinno's reign as chip leader came to an end at the hands of Blom, before a huge pot for Johns with a set sent him into the lead. Although he found a double, Zinno was the next casualty in third place as Johns held slightly less than a two-to-one chip lead over Blom at the beginning of heads-up play. Johns immediately pulled further ahead and had Blom on the ropes before the final hand was the Swede all-in with a flush draw and an overcard against Johns' top pair. The river blanked, and Blom was eliminated in second place as Johns was awarded his fourth WSOP bracelet.
