The 2024 PGT PLO Series II presented by PLO Mastermind continued from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada with Event #2: $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Progressive Bounty. The tournament drew 159 entries and Dylan Weisman leads the final six players.
Weisman held one of the top stacks for the majority of the evening and leveraged his chips to accumulate and score knockouts on his way to the overnight chip lead. He leads a final table that includes Richard Gryko, Bruno Furth, Daniel Negreanu, John Riordan, and Sean Winter. These six players will return already guaranteed $23,850, while all eyes will be on the $88,245 first-place prize in addition to the bounties, 154 PGT points, and the Event #2 trophy.
In this progressive bounty format, when you eliminate another player, you receive half of their bounty as a cash prize, while the other half goes towards increasing your own bounty.
The field of 159 entrants created a prize pool of $795,000. Forty percent of it was set aside for the bounties and the final 23 players earned a piece of the regular prize pool. Samuli Sipila, a previous PGT PLO Series champion, was the unfortunate bubble boy when he got his chips in on the turn and failed to improve against Gryko. Eelis Parssinen (20th), Jordan Griff (15th), Jeremy Ausmus (14th), Bryce Yockey (11th), Ken Aldridge (10th), and Matthew Wantman (9th) were among those to cash in the event.

Knockouts occurred rapidly throughout the day due to the progressive bounty format, but following Wantman's elimination in ninth place, it would take another hour until the next. Jim Collopy was ultimately eliminated in eighth place on one table, while nearly simultaneously, Zachary Schwartz was eliminated in seventh place at the other table, and the six remaining players bagged to return for the streamed final table.
