The 2024 PGT season kicked off at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the PGT Kickoff, and David Coleman bagged the top stack with 2,270,000 to lead the seven remaining players in Event #1: $5,100 No-Limit Hold'em.

Stephen Chidwick sits just behind in chips, while Jeremy Ausmus, Nikita Kalinin, Clemen Deng, Aram Zobian, and Viktor Ustimov round out the players who will return for the final day as play resumes at 12 p.m. PT on Friday, January 12 with the delayed final table stream beginning at 1 p.m. PT on PokerGO.

The healthy field of 89 entrants created a prize pool of $445,000 and the top 13 finishers earned a piece of it. Johan Guilbert was the unfortunate bubble boy when got his short stack in and ran into a superior ace. Lewis Spencer (13th), Alex Condon (12th), John Riordan (11th), Michael Jozoff (10th), Eric Baldwin (9th), and Ryan Riess (8th) all made it into the money but fell short of the final table.

The seven remaining players will return with $17,800, but all eyes will be on the first-place prize of $120,150.
