PGT Mixed Games II continued on Monday at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada with Event #4: $10,200 8-Game. The tournament drew a field of 56 entries and leading the final five players is Daniel Negreanu.
Negreanu seized control near the money bubble, eliminating current PGT Mixed Games II Leaderboard leader Chino Rheem to put the field on a lengthy money bubble. Adding more to his stack, Negreanu at one point held nearly half of the chips in play with seven players remaining before ultimately finishing with a little less than that.
Negreanu leads a final five that includes Max Hoffman, Arthur Morris, Dzmitry Urbanovich, and Anthony Zinno. These five players will return on Tuesday to play for the $179,200 first-place prize, 179 PGT points, and the Event #4 trophy. A win by Morris or Zinno would put them in second place on the PGT Mixed Games II Leaderboard, while one from Negreanu, Hoffman, or Urbanovich would place them third.
The field of 56 entrants created a prize pool of $560,000 and the final eight players earned a piece of it. Andres Korn just missed out, busting on the money bubble. Dylan Linde (8th) fell shy of the final table, while Andrew Kelsall (7th) and John Hennigan (6th) were eliminated on the final hand of Day 1.
Seat | Player | Country | Chip Count |

4 | Max Hoffman | United States | 2,250,000 |
5 | Daniel Negreanu | Canada | 3,575,000 |
When play resumes, there will be 23:14 remaining in Level 17 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and a 40,000 big blind ante in the Big Bet games, and limits of 80,000/160,000 in the limit games. The button is on Daniel Negreanu and play will resume with the final hand of Omaha Hi-Lo.
Play will resume at 12 p.m. PT on Tuesday, October 10th.
