The 2023 Poker Masters continued at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the stakes have been raised as Chino Rheem bagged the chip lead while eight players remain in the final event of the series, Event #10: $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em.

Rheem leads Jonathan Jaffe, Brian Kim, Stephen Chidwick, Nick Petrangelo, Cary Katz, Ren Lin, and Alex Foxen into the final day of play as the eight players return at 2 p.m. PT on Tuesday, September 26 with the delayed final table stream beginning at 3 p.m. PT on PokerGO.

Several players are still in contention for the Purple Jacket and $50,000 championship bonus that will go to the player atop the Poker Masters leaderboard at the conclusion of this final event. Lithuanian Vladas Tamasauskas currently sits atop the leaderboard but will need a miracle to stay there.

Rheem, Chidwick, Lin, and Foxen would lock up the series title with a victory in this final event. There are many different scenarios heading into the final day and even Kim and Petrangelo have a chance to win the Purple Jacket depending on the finishing order.

The field of 42 entrants created a prize pool of $2,100,000 and the top six finishers will earn a piece of it. Isaac Haxton, Daniel Rezaei, Talal Shakerchi, and Brandon Adams were eliminated deep into the tournament before the final eight players converged on a single table. From there, Katz doubled through Foxen, Jaffe coolered Lin for a pot of more than 130 big blinds, and Foxen secured a short-stacked double on the final hand of the night.

The eight remaining players then bagged and tagged to return for the streamed final table as they eye the $756,000 first-place prize, 454 PGT points, and Event #10 trophy in the finale out of which a Purple Jacket winner will soon emerge.
