One of the most successful mixed-game players of all time concluded the PGT Mixed Games in stunning fashion, as Poker Hall of Famer Brian Rast won Event #7: $25,300 10-Game Championship. Rast emerged victorious in the early hours on Thursday morning at the PokerGO Studio to win his third career PGT title and the $480,000 first-place prize.

Rast also earned 288 PGT points and moved to third on the PGT Mixed Games leaderboard, and 12th on the PGT leaderboard. With his victory, Rast now eclipses $29,585,000 in lifetime tournament earnings, according to The Hendon Mob. He now overtakes Michael Mizrachi and Artur Martirosyan on the All-Time Money List and moves to 35th overall. Along with having three PGT titles to his name, Rast was also the first-ever Super High Roller Bowl champion in 2015 for $7,525,000 in prize money. On the PGT, Rast has cashed 42 times and has career PGT earnings of $7,055,081.

The finale of the series attracted a record-setting 64 entrants - besting the previous best of 57 entrants in a PGT-owned and operated $25,000 buy-in mixed event in February 2023. The 64-entrant field was reduced to 20 players on Day 1 as Eric Wasserson returned as the chip leader for Day 2. Following a series of eliminations, the pace of play slowed down on the money bubble before John Racener was eliminated in 11th place during Badugi when he ran into Yuri Dzivielevski's ten-dugi. The short stacks continued to double before it would be Hal Rotholz and Gus Hansen earning a min-cash, before overnight chip leader Wasserson exited in eighth place during Razz.

The final seven combined for the PokerGO livestreamed final table, and it would be Dzivielevski holding a sizeable chip lead and looking to lock up the PGT Mixed Games series champion award. Matthew Wantman was the first to fall during Omaha Hi-Lo when he flopped top set against the nut straight and a low of Ryan Miller. Wantman couldn't improve, and he earned $64,000 for his seventh-place finish. After running into the six-dugi of Rast, Ariel Mantel would fall next when Miller also made a six-dugi, and the Argentinian couldn't improve his five-draw.

Rast began to dominate play and moved up the leaderboard to sit with more than half the chips in play five-handed. Justin Liberto needed to win Event #7 to take down the series championship, but his run ended in fifth place during Razz when Dzivielevski made a nine-eight and had Liberto drawing dead on his final card. Miller was eliminated in fourth place when he committed with a flush draw in Omaha Hi-Lo, but Dvizielevski held on with ace-high.

Philip Sternheimer was out in third during Badugi when he was all-in with a convertible queen against Rast's pat-jack. Sternheimer decided to break but was unable to find a better diamond, and he was out in third place for $216,000. Rast began heads-up play with a 9.4 million chip advantage over Dzivielevski's 3.4 million, but for the Brazilian, he would lock up the 2026 PGT Mixed Games series champion following his three consecutive top two finishes to close out the series.

Badugi would be the assassin once again when Dzivielevski was all-in and drawing two. Rast was drawing one to a five-dugi and didn't improve, but neither did Dzivielevski, and he was bounced out in second place for $312,000. Rast collected $480,000 in prize money, 288 PGT points, and the PGT Mixed Games trophy.
