The top performer in the PokerGO Tour will be awarded $100,000 in prize money and be named Player of the Year, while cash prizes of $50,000 and $25,000 will also be awarded to the player that finishes second and third, respectively.
Following the conclusion of the Wynn Millions that saw Andrew Moreno, Clayton Maguire, and Toby Lewis climb into the top five, attention turned to the inaugural PokerGO Cup held at the PokerGO Studio. The eight-event schedule crowned winners in Ali Imsirovic, Alex Foxen, Dylan Linde, Jake Schindler, Jason Koon, Daniel Negreanu, and Cary Katz, as Negreanu was crowned the PokerGO Champion. Following the PokerGO Cup, two ARIA High Rollers also played out with Sean Perry and Anuj Agarwal collecting victories.
Following his four cashes and Event #7 victory, Daniel Negreanu was the biggest mover during the PokerGO Cup as he sky-rocketed up to 13th place on the PokerGO Tour leaderboard. Poker Masters Purple Jacket winner Ali Imsirovic extended his lead on top and became the first player to eclipse 2,000 points. Sean Perry did collect a victory in the first ARIA High Roller event to remain within reaching distance of Imsirovic. Sam Soverel‘s runner-up finish to Katz in the $100,000 Main Event saw him climb one spot to sit in third just ahead of Sean Winter while Andrew Moreno holds onto fifth spot after skipping the PokerGO Cup.
