The grind never stops for Alex Foxen, who despite claiming the top spot on the PGT Leaderboard just weeks ago, continues to play and dominate the PokerGO Tour. He adds another 144 PGT points and a first-place prize worth $87,000, along with $90,000 in bounties, for a victory in PGT PLO Series Event #2: $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Quattro Bounty.

Foxen began the day as the chip leader and only relinquished the lead briefly as he plowed his way to another victory. Only four players returned for action at the final table, as Foxen’s heater actually began the night before when he closed out Day 1 by eliminating both Joe Serock and Christopher Hannel on the same hand. Foxen made a king-high flush in that final hand to send both players to the rail and end play for the night.

He didn’t let off the gas on Day 2, either. On the very first hand of play, Foxen was already back at it, putting Kamel Mokhammad all in. Mokhammad, however, had the goods and survived to double up only to be eliminated by runner-up Mike Wang just a few hands later.

The three-handed battle lasted nearly an hour before LaDarren Banks got it all in good with against Foxen’s for a chance to get back in the thick of it. Unfortunately for Banks, Foxen caught two pair when the board ran out to send him out in third place for $44,000.

Things appeared as if they might turn when Mike Wang won the first big pot of heads-up play, making a flush against Foxen’s inferior flush. But just a few hands later, Foxen sealed the deal. In the final hand, Foxen raised and called a three-bet holding . Wang held and bet the flop before moving all in on the turn. Foxen tanked but eventually called with his draw—and spiked the river to lock up the win.

Foxen Continues to Extend His Lead on the 2025 PGT Leaderboard

The PGT Leaderboard has been all Foxen, all the time, for the last several months. With his latest win and historic 10,000th PGT point, Foxen continues to dominate this year’s leaderboard. He now sits firmly in first place with 2,723 PGT points, 21 cashes, and four wins on the season. That puts him nearly 500 points ahead of Michael Mizrachi in second, and it would take a strong string of results from anyone to usurp him.

The win also represented Foxen’s 10,000th lifetime PGT point, and he now sits at 10,119 total, with 11 career wins, 75 final tables, and 102 cashes.

Jesse Lonis also climbed with his cash in Event #2, moving to eighth overall on the 2025 PGT Leaderboard and surpassing Andrew Lichtenberger. Lonis now sits with 18 cashes, three wins, and 1,521 PGT points for a total of $1,831,992 in winnings. Other movers from the event include runner-up Mike Wang, who climbed into 15th place; Maksim Pisarenko, who moved into 84th; and A.P. “Lou” Garza, who climbed into 59th.
