When it comes to Super High Roller Bowl success, Justin Bonomo stands alone with not one, not two, but three Super High Roller Bowl titles. Bonomo won Super High Roller Bowl China in 2018 for $4,823,077 for his first title, and he shortly followed that victory up by winning Super High Roller Bowl IV in Las Vegas for $5,000,000.
As if two wins weren’t enough, Bonomo captured first place in the Super High Roller Bowl Online that was held on partypoker in 2020. In that virtual tournament, he won $1,775,000.
We mentioned Justin Bonomo’s success in winning Super High Roller Bowl China and Super High Roller Bowl IV in 2018. Those were back-to-back events, but Bonomo isn’t the only player in Super High Roller Bowl history to have won back-to-back Super High Roller Bowl titles.
In the first quarter of 2020, Timothy Adams took first place in Super High Roller Bowl Australia for $1,446,112 and then went on to win Super High Roller Bowl Russia for $3,600,000 one month later. These two wins gave Adams back-to-back Super High Roller Bowl victories.
Super High Roller Bowl events are known for having either a $250,000 or $300,000 buy-in, but did you know that either of those price tags weren’t the first-ever Super High Roller Bowl’s buy-in? The first Super High Roller Bowl back in 2015 had an even pricier buy-in of $500,000.
A buy-in that large in a poker tournament was certainly a sight to behold. The event generated a $21,500,000 prize pool and Brian Rast famously won the tournament for a whopping $7,525,000.
To date, there have been 12 different Super High Roller Bowl events. For the main Super High Roller Bowl that is played in Las Vegas, there have been five previous editions leading into Super High Roller Bowl VI.
