History of the Super High Roller Bowl in Europe
The last time the Super High Roller Bowl was in Europe was in March 2020 for Super High Roller Bowl Russia at Casino Sochi. The $250,000 buy-in main event drew a field of 40 entries and generated a $10 million prize pool. Timothy Adams topped the field and took home $3.6 million, winning his second consecutive Super High Roller Bowl title after taking down Super High Roller Bowl Australia the month before.
Prior to Russia, the Super High Roller Bowl was in Europe in September 2019 for Super High Roller Bowl London. The main event had a £252,500 buy-in (approx. $313,000) and took place at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford. Winning the event was Cary Katz, taking home £2.1 million (approx. $2.6 million) for what was his career-best score to date. Katz defeated one of the top high roller players in the world, Ali Imsirovic, to win the title.
The 2021 Super High Roller Bowl Europe will be the 12th Super High Roller Bowl series. Previously, the Super High Roller Bowl has held events in Las Vegas, China, Australia, and online at partypoker, in addition to the events in London and Russia. Nearly $160 million has been won in Super High Roller Bowl tournaments.
