LAS VEGAS – April 18, 2018 – Poker Central®, the ultimate destination for fans of poker tournaments, cash games, and lifestyle away from the tables, and ARIA Resort & Casino selected 15 VIP players for the sold-out 2018 Super High Roller Bowl. Additionally, Poker Central and ARIA revealed that one of the reserved VIP seats will be awarded from the first-ever Super Satellite Series, comprised of two progressive satellite tournaments played in advance of the Super High Roller Bowl.

The 15 VIP players selected to play in the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl are Brandon Adams, Dennis Blieden, Antonio Esfandiari, Seth Davies, Antanas Guoga (Tony G), Fedor Holz, Matt Hyman, Rainer Kempe, Bryn Kenney, Jason Koon, Tom Marchese, Bill Perkins, Doug Polk, Jake Schindler and Dan Smith. The remaining two VIP seats will be announced in May and the final seat will be awarded to the winner of the Super High Roller Bowl Qualifier to be held Saturday, May 26.

“We welcome the 15 VIPs to the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl field who are comprised of some of the most notable names in high stakes tournament poker,” said Sam Simmons, vice president of content at Poker Central. “These names, alongside the 30 selected at the annual Super High Roller Bowl lottery, are sure to make for the most star-studded tournament field of the year.”

The first event of the Super Satellite Series will begin Friday, May 25 at 4 p.m. PDT at a buy-in level of $500+$50. For every 20 entries, ARIA will award one seat to the next tournament in the series – the $10,000 Super High Roller Bowl Qualifier. Any prize money that does not result in a seat at the qualifier will be paid to the highest finisher who does not advance.

The Super High Roller Bowl Qualifier begins Saturday, May 26 at noon PDT at a buy-in level of $10,000* with no fees for those who enter before play begins. Any player or players moving on to the Super High Roller Bowl Qualifier from the first satellite tournament must use the money won in the previous tournament. The champion of this event will win a seat in the Super High Roller Bowl – worth $300,000 – assuming the field for the qualifier reaches 30 entries.

The 2018 Super High Roller Bowl will take place at ARIA May 27 – 30 and is expected to feature 48 players, with 18 being VIP guest entrants. The buy-in is $300,000 with a non-refundable deposit of $30,000. The total prize pool is expected to exceed $14 million with the first-place winner to receive an estimated $5 million. Classified as an open event, the Super High Roller Bowl does not require an invitation to participate.

In 2017, the Super High Roller Bowl brought to the tables the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Hellmuth. The champion was Christoph Vogelsang, who took home $6 million.

Fans will be able to catch the Super High Roller Bowl live on PokerGO, Poker Central’s live streaming video subscription service. Original episodes also will be available on NBC Sports Network, NBCSports.com and the NBCSports app.
