The Weekend Binge Watch is your weekly briefing on what to watch on PokerGO over the weekend during your home games, as a way to get better at your favorite games and also just to have a good time watching the best of the best collide. This week we’re featuring the voice of PokerGO as we dive into both the big plays as well as some of the shows hosted by Ali Nejad.

Long-time on-camera personality, host and commentator Ali Nejad has been in the game of poker for nearly two decades. A prop player and dealer at first after dropping out of college, Nejad linked up with Mori Eskadani at the 2003 PartyPoker Million cruise, which turned into a long working relationship in televised poker.

Poker After Dark

On PokerGO, you can find Nejad in action during Commentators Week on Poker After Dark in Season 2 versus Kristy Gazes, Vanessa Rousso, Annie Duke, Howard Lederer, and Gabe Kaplan. In Season 3, Nejad battled against Mark Gregorich, Chad Brown, Robert Williamson III, Phil Gordon, and Howard Lederer, and in the sixth season, he faced Joe Sebok, Mark Gregorich, Kara Scott, Howard Lederer, and Gabe Kaplan.

Super High Roller Club

In 2018, Nejad hosted the Super High Roller Club on PokerGO, a documentary series in which some of your favorite players talk about their biggest passions. Nejad interviewed Phil Hellmuth, Nick Schulman, Brandon Adams, Antonio Esfandiari, and Farah Galfond. Click on the player names to watch the episodes right now.

And for today, learn more about the man himself in this episode of Deep Issues where Ali Nejad tells some of his deepest and darkest secrets.
