Kornuth won the final hand of Day 2 when he eliminated Matthew Steinberg in sixth place in a pot that also involved David Peters. Trailing Kornuth is Peters who sits second overall, while Ali Imsirovic, Dario Sammartino, and defending 2021 WSOP Main Event winner Koray Aldemir round out the final five players. Each player is guaranteed $249,693 in prize money, while all eyes are on the $1,166,810 first-place prize and WSOP bracelet.

The cards are in the air for the final five players at 1 p.m. PT, while the PokerGO stream is scheduled to begin airing at 2 p.m. PT.
