Over the next week, the WSOP Europe Main Event will crown a champion from King’s Casino in Rozvadov. While exclusive coverage of the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe continues on PokerGO, we’re breaking down the biggest hands from the €100K High Roller final table.

We barely get to see Phil Ivey anymore and once the WSOP leaves Rozvadov the next time we’ll see Ivey remains a mystery. So when you get Phil Ivey – even if it’s for one hand – you have to cherish Phil Ivey. All kidding aside, Phil Ivey has been insanely impressive over the last few weeks. He finished second in two King’s Casino Short Deck High Rollers and has earned over €1 million since the start of WSOP Europe.

Since we love Phil Ivey as much as you do, we’re offering a limited time promo to make sure you don’t miss Ivey during World Series of Poker Europe. Use code “GOIVEY19” for $20 off an annual subscription and start watching the GOAT now. Offer valid expires October 31.

The only thing we see less than Phil Ivey – five-bets! Gone are the days of clicking it back unless you have the Poker Code? Matthias Eibinger went for it against Webster Lim in this massive pre-flop battle that was also a blast from the past.

On a different day, Webster Lim’s four-bet might have worked and while Eibinger won the battle – Lim worked on winning the war. This flopped set led to a massive pot against Christoph Vogelsang that shot Lim up the leaderboard.

On a different day, Matthias Eibinger’s five-bet might have given the Austrian the momentum he needed to win his first World Series bracelet. Unfortunately, momentum doesn’t always beat variance and this cooler ended any title-winning thoughts he may have had.

There have been some wild finishes to World Series events on PokerGO in the past, but there has likely never been a weirder final hand than between Webster Lim and Jean-Noel Thorel. In a shock move, Thorel bluff-shoved the river and that’s when it started. What was the Frenchman representing? What was Lim thinking when they called the floor? Either way, the Malaysian pro won his first WSOP bracelet – one week after finishing 2nd in the €250K Super High Roller.
