Michael Dyer's Chip Lead Looms Over WSOP Main Event Final Table on PokerGO

Michael Dyer led the Main Event leaderboard for most of Day 7 and picked up right where he left off to start the final table. Dyer’s brief hiatus from the chip lead was rectified right away and he opens the second day of final table play with 156.5 million of the 393.7 million chips in play.

The final table belongs to Dyer for right but that can change once cards are in the air tomorrow at 6:00 pm ET on PokerGO. On Dyer’s direct left sits 2009 Main Event champion Joe Cada, who sits on a tedious stack of 29.275 million. Cada is only in front of Aram Zobian in the counts but long on experience in his career.

A life comeback story is in the cards for Tony Miles. The Floridian rebounded from addiction to get to this new stage in his life and won’t go down at the final table without a fight.

Nic Manion is no longer the chip leader as he was after winning the sickest cooler in Main Event history to catapult up the counts. Regardless of how the Main Event plays out for Manion, he is taking advantage of his freeroll to earn millions of dollars.

Big chip leaders at the Main Event final table have come through in the past like Scott Blumstein and Joe McKeehen and Dyer attempts to take the next step in following their footsteps.

John Cynn picked up chips to end play with his elimination of Alex Lynskey. Cynn made have put his 2016 final table bubble behind him but is far from satisfied with his result thus far.

Aram Zobian has half as many chips now as he did when Day 7 started. Zobian caught some heat at the final table early on and needs to pick big hands to stay in contention.
