The 2020 World Series of Poker Online on GGPoker continued over the weekend with three WSOP bracelet winners being crowned, and the final day being reached in the Event #77: $5,000 Main Event as 38 players remain with Bryan Piccioli holding the chip lead.

Across 16 starting flights, a total of 5,802 entrants created a prize pool of $27,559,500 that saw just 1,171 players return to action on Day 2. The top 728-players would finish in-the-money as Pete Chen, Mike Leah, Isaac Haxton, Shankar Pillai, Sam Greenwood, Michael Zhang, and start-of-day chip leader Kahle Burns all added a WSOP cash to their resume before the 12-hour day came to a conclusion with just 38 players remaining and play halted until Saturday, September 5.

Bryan Piccioli is the chip leader sitting with 18.4 million (115 big blinds) in chips, and will be looking to surpass his 2017 WSOP Main Event performance where he finished in sixth-place. Michael Kane sits in second overall with 15.9 million (99 big blinds) in chips and has nearly $700,000 in lifetime winnings, while Bulgaria’s Stoyan Madanzhiev finished the day with 15.2 million (96 big blinds) in chips.

Other notables still remaining include Craig Timmis (12.8 million), Dinesh Alt (11.7 million), Benjamin Rolle (10.8 million), Stefan Schillhabel (8.4 million), Jonas Lauck (6.1 million), and Michael Lech (4.2 million).

The final 38 players will return on Saturday, September 8 to play down to the winner. Currently, the final 38 players are all guaranteed $39,214 in prize money, while reaching the final table will see the pay day be a guaranteed $230,395. All eyes however will be on the $3,904,686 first-place prize, coveted WSOP bracelet, and title of GGPoker WSOP Online Main Event champion.
